Linnihan Foy is seeking a media buyer to support our media department. Our ideal candidate would be experienced in all things media, highly organized and a want to work in a fast-paced environment within an agency setting.

We would enjoy meeting those with the following qualifications:

• 3-5 years media experience in an agency setting
• Experience in buying all media: radio & TV, OOH, print
• Familiarity with buying and planning software (Advantage software a plus)
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiating skills
• Ability to reconcile invoices and recap media buys
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Minimal supervision, relies on experience/ judgment
• Detail-oriented and proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Good sense of humor (a must)

Job duties would include:

• Optimizing media plans and budgets according to a set strategy
• Negotiating with advertising sales reps to ensure the most cost-effective deal structures.
• Entering and reconciling vendor invoices
• Assisting Controller with media specific financial tasks and vendor communications.
• Managing creative calendars for ad trafficking to vendors
• Assisting with media placement with opportunities of growth
• May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time
